What is TypeCooker?

It is a way of drawing letterforms following a recipe that contains various technical or visual parameters (as if it were a project brief). This idea was developed by Erik van Blokland as a teaching tool for type designers. Go to http://typecooker.com/ and generate your own recipes.

What are the Letrástica TypeCooker sessions?

They are one-hour and a half online meetings, moderated and directed by Letrástica ambassadors and guests. Each session will have a unique recipe and theme that will be featured at the start of the livestream.

What do I need to participate in the TypeCooker?

- Join the Facebook group "Letrástica Comunidad” or our Discord server (https://discord.gg/5jXNURArsW). We will share the link to the online meeting in a post just before de session. Also you can get your tickets on Evenbrite.

- For the transmission you need a webcam and all the drawing tools of your choice.

- If joining the online meeting it is not possible for you, you can follow us in our Youtube live-stream.
