Chelas y Tipos

Chelas & Tipos is a Mexican chapter of Spanish project Canas & Tipos, whose events are formed with a couple of talks per session, in a relaxed environment to discuss and enjoy, while participants join the speaker on topics of typography, lettering and calligraphy. The first Chelas & Tipos took place in Puebla in December of 2016, with later on having spaces open in Xalapa and Guadalajara. 

Over the years, the event has grown in the reach and number of assistants, which is why various colleagues have come together to spread and promote the event such as Letter INC, Tipas Type and Letrastica chapters.
